Borders are porous, our problems don’t stop at city lines. Our solutions need to encapsulate the issues and not stop at the borders of our city. As Thurston County continues to grow and develop we will need to build stronger ties between municipalities to implement robust regional solutions. Cooperation and a consolidated effort built on consensus instead of rivalry will lead us to a stronger future in which we can all prosper.
